The Amiami dataset contains all of the bishoujo figures ever released on the popular Amiami website. It compiles the data on a monthly basis for release date analysis, along with price increase over time and brand name distribution. Data is updated daily directly from the Amiami API.

The releases graph shows that releases have increased over time for the past 20 years at a linear rate. The drop off at the end is simply because pre-orders don't get announced all at the same time, and will stabilize over time. While there are peaks and valleys over the months, there doesn't seem to be any specific month of the year where releses are significantly higher or lower.

The price analysis also shows a linear rate going up near the inflation rate, however it also shows that the increase in price accelerating in the past year compared with past trends. While the graph shows prices going up significantly in the future, this can be explained by the fact that cheaper figures typically don't get pre-orders, and the price will likely stabilize over time.

The brand names distribution shows that there are a very large amount of manufacturers of bishoujo figures, with Good Smile Company, Kotobukiya and Max Factory making the majority of the figures sold at Amiami.
