Blender 2.65 nearly complete

After the latest developer's meeting, it seems like the upcoming Blender 3D release is almost completed, with the team now working on fixing a few of the last bugs remaining, with several of the important sub-systems working and ready to ship.

According to the developers, it seems like there is now less than 70 bugs remaining before the version can be called gold, or ready to ship. Release 2.65 is on track for the planned date, with bug fixing being the last priority. Some features however had to be cut and left for the 2.66 road map, including Python nodes and Bullet integration.

If all goes according to plan, we should see the final version this coming December.
