YouTube is about to launch a new look

YouTube, like every other Google site out there, is being redesigned to follow their unified Google+ look. New buttons, more white space and redesigned pages are coming soon to the largest video site on the web. Here's what some of the pages look like. The differences aren't much, but they definitively made it more along the lines of other Google properties.

While the new design isn't public yet, thanks to Mashable we know of a workaround. If you use Chrome or Firefox, enter the developer console:

In Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + K (Win) | Cmd + Shift + K (Mac)

In Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + J (Win) | or Cmd + Alt + J (Mac)

Then type in:


After that, reloading YouTube should give you the new design.
