Inside a unique ad design agency

Inc Magazine has a fairly interesting report about life in one of the biggest independent ad design firms in the US, the Richards Group, controlled by Stan Richards, who rules in a fairly atypical way. First, he insists on strict 8:30 AM to 6 PM days, with punch in cards. Then, meetings are run in an orderly fashion, where if any employee is late, they don't get in. Stan's typical day during a hot summer day is inside a meeting room talking about contracts. Most creative companies are the complete opposite, promoting a relaxed attitude, but Stan Richards insists that his way works, having brought his agency to billings of $1.28 billion.
