Being a beginner

Phillip Torrone wrote an interesting piece over at MAKE Magazine about creating things, and being a beginner. He makes the point that being an expert at something often means the end, whereas being a beginner means the path can take you to unexpected, interesting places. Beginners approach things with an open mind, they don't say ''I can't do things this way'' and they spend their time exploring new ideas. Check out the article for an interesting comparison between beginner and expert.
