New report says Intellectual Properties industry makes money

Ars Technica has a summary of a recent report from IIPA, which talks about how the Intellectual Properties (IP) industries such as video, gaming, music, and so on, have fared in the past few years. According to the data, industry jobs pay more than typical American jobs, they have outpaced the US economy through the current recession, and sales overseas have grown impressively. All this points to the fact that creators such as Hollywood sell more and make more money than before, which sheds some new light on the draconian Internet censorship laws that lobby groups are attempting to pass in the US congress. See the article for all the numbers.
