Google has been busy updating its Google Plus service lately. Today, they introduced a new feature called Ripples. Available from the drop down menu of any public post, it shows an interesting graph of who shared the post, and how the information spread around the network, using colorful circles. It's interesting how visual and interactive the resulting graph is, as opposed to the traditional way of showing this kind of data, which would normally be shown as a simple table or line graph. Google has been on the forefront of using artistic means to showcase information.
