About

This page contains some details about myself.

This has been my personal web site since 2008, but I've been tinkering with technology for a bit longer than that.

I started using DOS and Linux computers and spending time on IRC channels in the 1990s, then migrated to playing MMORPG games, browsing newsgroups and forums. I've worked as a Systems Administrator on Linux and Windows servers, created small Python scripts, HTML and PHP web sites, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and maintain a home lab containing Raspberry Pi devices, routers, switches, mini-PCs and retro gear.

I work in the IT corporate world, and when off the clock I enjoy PC gaming, Anime, figure collecting, learning new tech and creating digital art, hacking open source software and exploring new technologies like AI and Quantum.

Home lab

This is my current home lab as of 2019. It consists of a NAS using ZFS on NVMe disks, a cluster of Proxmox mini PCs running dozens of my own custom applications, open source apps along with various workloads in high-availability, and a Raspberry Pi running a custom made status screen. This lab is used constantly to learn new technologies, test hardware and software.

Digital art

Around 2007-2015 or so I created a number of 3D renders using the software products Poser and E-On Vue. I made over 1,000 images in those years until I ran out of ideas for scenes to create.

In 2023 I started exploring the newly released AI models to create art using a service called MidJourney for a little while.

Since 2024, I moved on to using Stable Diffusion on ComfyUI, using multiple different models and playing with things like ControlNet, LoRA, merges and so on.

Here are some of my favorite TV series. They are mostly Sci-Fi and action titles:

Figures collecting

Since 2015 I've been collecting scale figures. Most of them are anime or video game characters. I currently have well over 200 figures.
